LAMCO is an electrical power equipment manufacturer engaged in the manufacture of Surge Arresters up to 420 KV, Current and Voltage Transformers up to 245 KV & Polymer (Composite) Insulators upto 420KV. Incorporated in the year 1983, LAMCO Industries Pvt Ltd, which began with a meager capital, has today become a company, which has a turnover around Rs.70 Crores (14.28 million US$) and has a dedicated workforce of over 200 people. It was the vision of Mr Kondala Rao to take Andhra Pradesh, especially Hyderabad to the forefront in the industrial development. He sensed that Hyderabad had the dearth in the electrical equipment manufacturing area, and decided to establish an industry in this segment. The result is the stupendous success of LAMCO.

LAMCO has successfully installed Class-5 Multi Column Polymer Surge Arrester for 1200kV PGCIL Test Station at BINA, Madhya Pradesh (India) developed indigenously for the first time in the Country.
